serious PLAY, serious LEARNING, serious RESULTS

Experienced trainers know that games for learning and development can be used as five minute icebreakers or whole day simulation.

The following are some ideas where you could effectively use 45-120 minute games.

  • a training-lunch - perhaps you can follow it with some pizza
  • your monthly department meeting
  • Friday afternoons before breaking for the weekend
  • when your staff are too busy to attend a full training program
  • filling a 1-2 hour gap in a conference with an activity that is meaningful, memorable and produces results
  • improving staff morale
  • when you want to try something different

It is very important that all games are properly debriefed at the end and links made to the workplace.
